my lineages

my people are anglo-saxon, gael, germanic, and niitsitapi-blackfoot, among various other bands of earth dwellers. i was born on diné land in the region of halchíítah, northern arizona, and spent my childhood on the big island of ke aupūni o hawai‘i, after which my family moved to the base of bulim phuyuq, mount shasta, in the homeland of the winnemem wintu peoples. i have spent many of my adult years living in huichin, oakland, ca, in the unceded territories of the chochenyo and ramaytush ohlone peoples, and recently moved to the edge of the rain forest to cheet-woot, the place of the bear, olympia, wa, home of the steh-chass, noo-she-chatl and squi-atl people of the squaxin island tribes.

In this lifetime, I have had the honor of connecting with many teachers who have shared with me some of the greatest gifts of my life.
